About us

Gianni Simonelli, owner & CEO of Natural Stone Service consulting firm for the ornamental natural stones industry. Born in 1972 in Carrara-Italy in a family of stone masons, he was raised in the dirt and dust of the local marbles.
After the college in Parma, he started working in 1994 and covered different positions giving him a 360° experience in the field: marble tiles manufacturing, slabs production, cut to size fabrication, sales & marketing. After 5 years of direct experience as managing director of a white marble quarry, he became
member of the board of the Technological Committee of the Natural Stones District by Regione Toscana.
Combination of work and his love for travelling was a perfect match and made him a globe trotter willing to share his experience with high professionals of the stone industry around the world. All this allowed him to be an active part of some state-of-the-art projects, supplying and supervising the materials production.
